How is GPA calculated on a 4.0 scale?
Each letter grade maps to a point value — commonly A = 4.0, A− = 3.7, B+ = 3.3 and so on. Multiply each by the course credits, sum, and divide by total credits.
What is a good GPA?
Context decides. On a 4.0 scale, 3.5 and above is generally considered strong and 3.0 solid. Graduate programmes often set 3.0 as a floor. Compare against your own cohort rather than a general benchmark.
What is the difference between weighted and unweighted GPA?
