Frequently asked questions
Is my resume uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything is typed, previewed and exported inside your browser, and the draft is stored in this browser only. Clearing your site data clears the draft.
Which template should I choose?
Classic is the default and the one to use for job portals: a single column with real headings is what applicant tracking systems parse most reliably. Modern, Compact and Elegant are also single-column and equally safe. Sidebar and Banner look better to a person but put content in columns or tinted panels, which a parser can jumble — they are marked with a warning icon for that reason. A common approach is to send a designed version by email and upload Classic to the portal.
Do I lose my content when I switch templates?
No. Every template renders the same resume, so you can switch as often as you like and compare. Your text, template, accent colour and density are all kept in your browser between visits.
How long should a resume be?
One page for under five years of experience, two at most beyond that. If a bullet does not show a result, it is usually the one to cut.
How do I save it as a PDF?
Click Print / Save as PDF and choose "Save as PDF" as the destination in your browser's print dialog. The text stays selectable and searchable, which a screenshot or image export would not.
